SALUTING WITH SMOKE
BBQ Competition SERIES
Saluting With Smoke offers a unique and patriotic barbeque experience as a series of BBQ cooking competitions.
Cooks can compete in three event formats: SCA Steak, KCBS Master Series, and KCBS Competitor Series. Teams competing in all three event formats are eligible for the Overall Series Points Championship awarded on November 7th. The series focuses on competitors who want to celebrate veterans and support them through a veteran managed charitable organization.
Teams competing are required to have a Veteran on their team. If you don't have a Veteran, or would like to host another Veteran, Mission Zero Hundred Hours will provide Veterans to join teams.
Mission Zero Hundred Hours is a 501c3 organization supports at-risk vets with culinary arts programs, job placement, competition BBQ cooking team excursions, and culinary business related services and support.
Zero Hundred Hours is the start of a new day for vets in need of support.
Our initial program "BBQ Saves Lives" pairs vets with professional BBQ teams across the country for an all expense paid BBQ Excursions which re-introduces vets to mission, value, team, family, and community.
